What Fits in the Deluxe Shelter?

The Deluxe is our largest shelter, a portable garage for anything too wide for the Touring. Owners use it for:

• Trikes, including Harley-Davidson trikes
• Can-Am Spyders and other three-wheelers
• Two motorcycles side by side: two sport bikes or two full-dress touring bikes
• Small golf carts and small electric cars
• UTVs, ATVs, and snowmobiles

Trike & Can-Am Spyder Storage

Three-wheelers are wide, which is why they need the Deluxe's 78" of inside width. Measure your trike's overall width (across the rear fenders on a trike, or across the front wheels on a Spyder), its length including any trunk or rack, and its height at the windshield. Then compare those numbers with 138" L × 78" W and the clearance chart above.

Add high-density rubber flooring under a trike to keep the tires off damp ground and oil off your driveway.

Storing Two Motorcycles in One Shelter

The Deluxe holds two sport bikes or two full-dress touring bikes side by side, so you get one footprint, one lock, and one setup instead of two shelters. A few tips:

• Measure both bikes at their widest point, usually the mirrors or saddlebags. Together, with a gap between them, they need to fit within 78".
• Park them side by side and fold the mirrors in if it's tight.
• Leave enough room between the bikes to reach the kickstands and get on and off.

Golf Cart, UTV & Snowmobile Storage

The Deluxe fits small golf carts, small UTVs, and snowmobiles. Because the roof slopes down toward the rear, check the height of the cart's roof or the UTV's roll bar at the spot where it will sit, not just its overall height. Rubber flooring keeps a golf cart dry and off the ground, and the shelter keeps leaves, rain, and sun off it.

Setting Up a Deluxe on a Wooden Base

Many Deluxe owners set up on a wooden platform, like the ones in the photos above. On grass, gravel, or uneven ground, a level wooden base gives the shelter a flat floor and something solid to anchor to, and it keeps the shelter portable.
