303 Aerospace Protectant

The sun cracks seats, fades plastics and dries out rubber. 303 Aerospace Protectant blocks that UV and dries to a clear matte finish with no oily, greasy residue. That’s the part riders care about: a seat that isn’t slick and a dash that doesn’t glare back at you.

Which size?

• 2 oz: the trial size. Try it on a seat or a set of grips first, or keep it in a saddlebag for touch-ups on a long trip.
• 16 oz: the one-bike size: seat, side covers, rubber parts and your helmet, with plenty left for the next few months. It’s the size in our Winter Storage Kit and Cover Care Kit.
• 32 oz: more than one bike, or a boat and trailer too: trailer and toy-hauler tires, RV EPDM rubber roofing and slide-out seals, boat seats, Hypalon inflatables and wet suits.
• 1 gallon: the refill for detail shops, dealers, RV and boat owners, or a garage with several bikes. Pour it into a clean, labeled spray bottle so nobody mistakes it for a cleaner.

• Safe on vinyl, fiberglass, carbon fiber, natural and synthetic rubber, plastic and finished leather.
• Restores lost color and luster, and repels stains.
• Spray on, wipe dry.
• The 16 oz, 32 oz and gallon are the Marine formula: no silicone oils or petroleum distillates, made in the USA.

Where not to use it: suede or other unfinished leather, fabric and canvas, flooring, clear plastics, gauge panels and headlights. So it’s not for a fabric motorcycle cover. That’s what 303 Fabric Guard is for.

Is 303 Aerospace Protectant safe on a motorcycle seat?
Yes, on vinyl and finished leather. 303 says it protects against UV fading and cracking and dries to a matte finish. It isn’t for suede or unfinished leather.

Can I use 303 Aerospace Protectant on my motorcycle cover?
No. 303 says Aerospace Protectant isn’t for fabric or canvas. For a cover, use 303 Fabric Guard. Keep Aerospace for the seat, rubber, plastic and finished leather.

Can I use it on an RV rubber roof or an inflatable boat?
Yes. 303 lists RV EPDM rubber roofing, tires, slide-out seals and Hypalon inflatables, and says it helps keep inflatables from sticking together in storage. The 32 oz and gallon are the sizes for that much surface.
