Bike Wash Kit

This is a complete motorcycle wash kit for washing by hand in the driveway, no pressure washer needed. Wash, dry, then a quick coat of spray wax.

What’s in the kit

• Shurhold 3.5-gallon rope handle bucket. The rope handle doesn’t go through the bucket wall, so no leaks and no rusty metal handle.
• Meguiar’s Ultimate Wash & Wax, 1.4 liters. Carnauba and polymer wash that boosts the wax already on your paint.
• Meguiar’s Hybrid Wash Mitt. Chenille microfiber on one side for washing, plush microfiber on the other. Machine washable.
• Meguiar’s Water Magnet drying towel, 22″ x 30″. Waffle weave that holds up to twice the water of a terry towel and dries spot-free.
• Meguiar’s #59 Quik Wax, 16 oz. Carnauba spray wax for paint, stainless and clear plastic. Works on a wet or dry surface.

How to hand wash a motorcycle with it: work in the shade with the engine cool. Wash top to bottom with the mitt, rinse, then dry right away with the Water Magnet so you don’t get water spots. Spray Quik Wax on the tank, fenders and windshield and wipe off. Keep wax off the seat, grips and tires.

Washing before storage is worth it, too. Dirt and bugs left on all winter are harder to get off in spring. Then park it in a Speedway Shelter to keep it clean longer.

Can I wash my motorcycle without a pressure washer?
Yes. This kit is a hand-wash setup: bucket, Meguiar’s Ultimate Wash & Wax, a microfiber mitt, a Water Magnet drying towel and Quik Wax. Wash top to bottom with the mitt, rinse, then dry right away.

Where should I not use spray wax on a motorcycle?
Keep Quik Wax off the seat, grips and tires. Meguiar’s makes it for paint, stainless steel and clear plastics like a windshield. Use it after the bike is clean.

Is the wash mitt machine washable?
Yes. The Meguiar’s Hybrid Wash Mitt is machine washable and reusable. It has a chenille microfiber side for washing and a plush microfiber side for spreading wax.
