Description

Want to try 303 Aerospace Protectant before buying a big bottle, or keep one in the saddlebag on a long trip? This is the 2 oz size.

Motorcycle paint after 5 years in storage in a Speedway Shelter, glossy and unoxidized

It blocks the UV that fades and cracks vinyl, plastic and rubber, and it dries to a clear matte finish with no oily, greasy residue. That’s the part riders care about: a seat that isn’t slick and a dash that doesn’t glare back at you.

  • Safe on vinyl, gel-coat, fiberglass, carbon fiber, natural and synthetic rubber, plastic and finished leather.
  • Restores lost color and luster.
  • Anti-static. Repels dust, smudges and stains.
  • Water-based. Spray on, wipe dry.
  • 303 says each application lasts for months.

It was first engineered for aerospace and aviation, then found its way into garages for vehicles, sports gear and patio furniture.

Bike parked in the sun most days? UV is what wears out seats and plastics first. A Speedway Shelter keeps sun off between rides, and 303 covers the time you’re out. For more on keeping covers and bikes from sun damage, see how to make a motorcycle cover last.

What can I use 303 Aerospace Protectant on?
Vinyl, gel-coat, fiberglass, carbon fiber, rubber, plastic and finished leather. 303 says it blocks UV fading and cracking and dries to a clear matte finish with no greasy residue.

Can I use 303 Aerospace Protectant on my motorcycle cover?
No. 303 says Aerospace Protectant isn’t for fabric or canvas. For a cover, use 303 Fabric Guard instead. Save Aerospace for the seat, rubber, plastic and finished leather.

Is the 2 oz bottle worth it?
It’s a trial size. Try it on a seat or a set of grips before buying a bigger bottle, or keep it in a saddlebag for touch-ups on the road.
